I’ve now worked on three Mike Watt videos… Burstedman, Beltsandedman and Pelicanman. This last video “Pelicanman” was the most difficult to edit. I like going into a shoot with a script and storyboard. It makes it easier in the editing room (my bedroom) to have things basically laid out. Watt only had a few days before he was off to tour Europe. It turned out to be an image bonanza. Bright in color and texture, with no real storyline, but a lot of trippy images.
Get into your Woodstock mentality and enjoy a modern approach to the 60’s.
